Worship (Music)
The band and singers who lead the music at every weekend service.
Opens the church’s signup form in a new tab. It takes about 10 minutes, and a team leader gets back to you within 48 hours.
- How often
- Minimum one Sunday a month, plus rehearsal
- What a Sunday looks like
- All the services that day, plus an early sound check
A few teams share this one signup form. When it asks which team you want, pick the one labelled “Worship”. That wording is the form’s, not ours.
A musical assessment is part of joining this team. We’ll walk you through it after you apply. It’s a conversation, not a tryout you can fail.
The application asks you to commit to six months and to sign the team covenant, an agreement about how the team serves together.
Why it matters
Worship is where a lot of people meet God before they can explain any of it. This team carries that.
This team is for you if…
- You’re musically skilled and ready to lead in front of a crowd.
- You take the preparation as seriously as the performance.
- You want to worship, not perform.
What you’d be doing
- Rehearse and prepare the weekend’s songs.
- Sing or play an instrument across the services.
- Be worshipping yourself while you’re up there.
The commitment
Minimum one Sunday a month: all of the services at your location that day, plus Thursday rehearsal 6:00–8:00 PM and a sound check beforehand (7:30 AM at Mansfield and Ontario, 8:00 AM at Waterford).
