Production
Audio, lighting, video and slides, so nothing gets between people and the message.
Opens the church’s signup form in a new tab. It takes about 10 minutes, and a team leader gets back to you within 48 hours.
- How often
- Minimum one Sunday a month
- What a Sunday looks like
- Pre-service rehearsal, all the services, and a team devotional
A few teams share this one signup form. When it asks which team you want, pick the one labelled “Production”. That wording is the form’s, not ours.
No previous experience needed. Most of this team learned everything on the job.
Why it matters
The Production Team serves with technical excellence and creativity to help people encounter Christ without distraction. Done well, nobody notices this team at all. Done badly, nobody notices anything else.
This team is for you if…
- You have an eye for detail and like to get things exactly right.
- You love learning new skills.
- You enjoy serving behind the scenes as part of a team.
What you’d be doing
- Run slides, lighting, cameras, or audio during services.
- Set up and run through production elements so services can flow seamlessly.
- Keep the technical side invisible so services are engaging and distraction free.
Ways to serve on this team
- Audio (in person and online)
- Camera Operator
- Lighting
- Graphics Operator
- Stage Crew
Not sure which one is you? Sign up anyway and pick it later. Your team leader will help you land in the right spot, and they all use this same form.
What happens after you sign up
Before you commit to anything, a Production leader will invite you to come and watch a Sunday morning. You’ll see the different ways the team serves behind the scenes, sit in on the team devotional, and have time to meet people and ask whatever you want. Training comes after that, hands-on and built around the roles you’re interested in and any experience you already have.
The commitment
Minimum one Sunday a month: all of the services at your location that day, plus a pre-service rehearsal (7:00 AM at Mansfield and Ontario, 8:00 AM at Waterford). No Thursday rehearsal.
