This is one option on the Operations Team signup form. When it asks which team you want, pick the one labelled “Finance (counting offering)”. That wording is the form’s, not ours.
This team is looking for alternates rather than regulars at the moment, so say on the form that you’re happy to be on call.
Why it matters
People give generously and trust the church to handle it well. This team is a large part of how that trust gets kept.

The commitment
The regular team is full. What they need is two alternates, who step in when a month has five Sundays or somebody has to drop out late. Nobody serves more than one Sunday a month.
